Susan's Story
In the years since graduation, I have moved around a lot, but I ended up right back in the Peoria area. I was divorced in 1993 and have been single since then. Yes, I went back to using my birth name. I built a home in Germantown Hills and lived there for 16 years. In summer of 2008, I sold my home and moved in with my parents. Dad was not well, and my mom needed help, so I am back in East Peoria once again. I've enjoyed driving past the high school watching the new construction there.
In my full-time job as conference services director in Continuing Education at Bradley University, I help people put their conferences together and handle a variety of other programs, including some educational travel programs for retirees.
I have a master's degree in English, and I also teach Business Communication to upper classmen and to graduate students part-time at Bradley. I love teaching college students!

well as writing, reading, traveling, and going to movies. When I am not grading English papers, I enjoy going out with friends.
My ideal escape - a sunny white-sand beach with clear blue water and palm trees. I love listening to the sound of the ocean! Add a couple of good books, a margarita, and a comfy beach chair...I am one happy lady.
I have two grown daughters - Michelle (32) and Melissa (28), and both of them live in Columbus, Ohio. Michelle works for State Farm and has three children. Melissa, a nurse, works in the electrophysiology area of cardiology. She explains that her team members are the heart's "electricians." (They fix arrythmias, etc.) Melissa will finish a master's degree in advanced practice nursing in May of 2010.
I'm always on the web, so feel free to e-mail me with your updates and news. You can easily find me in in Bradley University's online directory. If you're ever in the area, I'd love to hear from you!
