Susan's Story
Life
Joined the Navy (who would have guessed) in 1982. Spent the next 5 yrs living in paradise (Hawaii). Married, divorced. Then went to Iceland! Yikes! Very cold! I don't recommend it. Went from Iceland to Beaufort, SC (very hot and humid, but I would definitely recommend it). Put on first class in Beaufort and later passed the Chiefs exam. Then decided to get out and go on to greener pastures. Went to work for the Marine Corps for 7 years then...Expand for more
transferred to the Air Force for two years and now work for the FBI as a Counseling Psychologist. Also a Capt. in the Air National Guard as a Psychologist.
Completed my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in CA. I have two wonderful kids, Kristen and Garrett McPherson, who are my life.
I would say that out of all the places I have been I would recommend Beaufort, SC the most. It's southern charm at it's best. I hope to be back there some day.
