Susan's Story
Story of me
I use to always imagine what life would be like when I was done high school and what my future would hold. I have gained so much knowledge and wisdom in my journey and I am still learning. I will start with my biggest life event which is my husband we have now been married for 9 years as of July 29, 2015 but together for a little over 17 years. are so very proud of them all and honored to be their parents. I have a Social Service Worker Diploma with two more years to do when I am ready to complete my bachelor of social worker with a specialization in child protection; currently a family skills worker for Nisga'a Lisims Government's Nisga'a Child and Family Services which I am also very honored to be working for my nation. I often reflect on my life experiences and really have a passion for working with high risk youth but with my current job I work with families as a whole which can be challenging but is very rewarding.
