Susan's Story
Life
I have been living in London since Christmas Eve 1998. I work for a major magazine publisher and my main source of entertainment is clubbing. I'm very much into trance/hard trance/hard house and after 4 years of clubbing, I finally bought decks and am learning to mix. I don't want to be a DJ, I just want to play the music I like, the way I like, when I like.
I split up with my Aussie husband last year after nearly 6 years but we're still quite close. I have been living with friends who I met in a scuba diving group. I've got a wonderful close set of friends and a lovely boyfriend, all of whom I met clubbing. Life is good! I've done a bit of traveling - Greece, 2 weeks on the Red Sea in Egypt, Malta, France and the Netherlands several times, Denmark, Sweden, Australia, Belguim and a quick day in Lisbon have all been absolutely amazing.

a dance record label/promotion in the UK. They have been great fun and I'm hoping to make a visit to the White Island - Ibiza - in the next couple of years - it simply has to be done. It's a Mecca for clubbers and I need to worship at the feet of Paul Van Dyk sooner or later!
I've quit going to as many concerts as I did, as clubbing takes up so much of my recreational time and resources now, but the only band I've seen in a couple of years has been Faithless. I've seen them twice this year and was absolutely blown away and enthralled by their stage presence. I was lucky enough to be at the concert at Alexandra Palace in London in April this year, which was filmed for their recently released DVD. I love this country; there are so many possibilities and opportunites for me here.
I have no plans to return to the US any time soon. It's so much cheaper for me to go on holiday around Europe than it is to get a flight home. Ridiculous, but not likely to change any time soon.
