Susan's Story

Life Still in WA state 36yh year this time around (I lived in the Seattle area till I was 8) Still the biggest CU fan in the State! I suppose it's ok that the Buffs are now in the PAC13. Graduated CU in 1976 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Worked as a scientific illustrator for years, then in international affairs. I am currently a research specialist with the national lab. All those science classes at Hinkley must have done some good after all. Physics is phun. I'm still a computer nerd (but not as bad as my brother Steve). Our son graduated from Seattle Unive...Expand for more
rsity in June 2009, moved to Cambridge MA and is now back in Seattle. He graduated magna cum laude in Mechanical Engineering with minors in math and physics. Graham moved from the far west end of I-90 and did his graduate work at the far east end of I-90 (Boston). That's right, he's also a MIT grad!!!! He was both a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and a National Defense Science & Engineering Graduate Fellow. He was his high school class valedictorian, marching band drum major and is an accomplished classical and jazz bass player. Go Buffs!!!!!

Happy birthday Dad!!! He would have been celebrating his 91st. So hard to believe. Picture was taken in our backyard probably after a fishing trip with his best friend and fishing buddy Jack.
Double oops!!! 1. Just realized that our 2021 tab was not on our plate yet the registration was in the glovebox. 2. Do the install on a warmer day than 29F in the shade. The tab fell apart as I removed the backing!! (Only s

Just for you Carol Shea Dowdell!!
I love sunrise views like today’s!!
Ticked off this morning. We have 2 Luci solar lights we use while campervanning. One of them, which has been used in the one position maybe a total of 1 hour in it’s lifetime is dead dead dead. And yes it’s charged. It sits
What is wrong in this photo (aside from the reflections in the windshield)?
Last night’s sunset. Orange due to one local range fire and two within about 65 miles. Smoke so thick you can taste it.
Arrived at the dog park a little early so we caught the sunrise from the park above it. Even the Columbia River had an orange glow to it.
Where were you March 20, 1968? We were in Seaside OR when Peter Peel showed up, Emma Peel left and was replaced by Tara King. I quit watching the Avengers right then and there. Will miss you always Diana Rigg!
Nothing like baking when it’s 96F out. But a peach cobbler makes it all worth it. Waiting for it to cool so we don’t scald our tongues.
Even the local weather guy says yuck to our temps.
Our overnight low.
I’m asking those who love the great OUTDOORS to post one picture that YOU took. No description. The goal is to flood Facebook with something positive and non-political posts. Please COPY the text, put a picture on YOUR PAGE.
