I was recently in Chi town for the 35th reunion of the class of 1973. It was fabulous! I loved seeing my friends from HS and it was so much fun seeing how Skokie has changed. Sascha, my only child joined me and got to meet many of my friends and learn about her mom as a teenager. She is almost 16! Sascha is very creative..dancing, singing, acting, (TV and stage, in addition to school productions), painting, design and photography. She is just a very lovely person and she has an amazing brain, a very wonderful way of thinking about things. She is currently writing songs and singing them. She wants to become a famous rock star... I am a single mom by choice. I was married, (briefly) but it was not for me. I love being responsible for myself and I wanted to be a mom. Parenting is not easy; there are so many things that one has to confront...but I do enjoy being a mom, so life is good! I had and continue to have very good quality educational experiences that have enabled me to have a private practice as a medical nutrition specialist, psychotherapist and eating disorder specialist.
