Life We had a GREAT 30th reunion November 3, 4 and 5, 2007!! We had a great time at the Bell Game as well as a formal dinner on Saturday night. We had such a wonderful time that it was decided we wouldn't wait for another ten years so we are in the process of some sort of beach party-type get together in the Summer of 2012 for our 35th! Okay, so a little (and a LOT!!!) about me::::: After graduation, I attended Orange Coast College and then Cal State Fullerton. I was a legal secretary and decided to go into elementary education rather than becoming an attorney. I taught in Anaheim at Walt Disney School for 8 years (we moved to the Northwest in 1990), stayed home with the kids for 8 years and then returned when the little one entered kindergarten. I taught nine years - 3 at first grade and 6 teaching 6th and 7th grade Science and Math. Our children are now 20 and 16, a Massage Therapy Graduate and a high school junior. Teaching how I do, by creating and developing math and science programs and projects, took a 70+ hour work week so I decided to take a one year leave of absence to enjoy my daughter's senior year 2006-2007. When I asked for a one year leave, I found out that the State of Washington does not allow a credentialed person on leave to make money (I wanted to substitute teach!), so I severed my contract, cashed in my retirement and am in the process of repairing one house and having another house built to sell. We own 10 rentals (no we're not rich, this is Washington State, not So. Cal!!) Our goal through Jeremiah 29:11 Properties is to help our renters purchase their first homes. In the meantime, since I needed to make money, I created a Property Management company idea.
