Susan's Story
After O.T., I went to Western and studied Psychology (not math, as I thought I would). I came to Toronto in 1970 and married a Toronto boy who I met at UWO. We had three sons, who are all grown now, two with children of their own.
In the 80's, the marriage ended and I went back to school - Business at York. School was a real challenge after all those years of raising kids, but I made some great friends and of course learned a lot.
I keep in touch with friends from the 1st Oakville Land Rangers. We have a reunion every summer, and meet frequently in Oakville in between. And of course the O.T. reunion in May 08 was a highlight - so many old faces and friends and memories.
My sister, Barb, a vet, is living in Calgary, and my brother, John, is a Chemical Engineer. Joh...Expand for more
n & his wife, Marty, have retired to Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island.
I retired from my post as the Controller for a small engineering firm near Pearson International airport, & moved to Vancouver, in 2009. After a 18 months (two blissful summers, and an endless winter of rain, rain, rain and No sunshine for weeks at a time), I returned to Ontario.
Now living happily in the Bloor and Islington area of Etobicoke, retired, with a little house and a big garden, and a couple of book clubs to keep me busy. Two teen-aged grand-daughters (and one son) in Quebec, and two very young grand-daughters in Vancouver ( where I visit my other two sons, one single and the other with a wife and 2 girls) keep me travelling on a regular basis - or at least, they did until covid arrived.
