Susanne's Story
I really enjoyed my years at Guardian Angels, Sr. Collette and all the Sisters of St. Joseph. We played at recess; there wasn't blacktop. I began in the "new" building. There was a mural of angels welcoming all students coming through the front door. I don't think it's there any longer. Academy. I wanted to go to McNick and even got fitted for uniforms but my manipulation skills were not developed at that time. GA had skating parties, dances in the cafeteria (old), there were a lot of Masses (old church) and parishioners paid 25 cents for a seat! I've been married close to 40 years and am a member of GA. I would be open to a reunion of the grade school and I am unsure how many would attend. Happy that I found this message board.
