Suzanne's Story
When i was at Jane Long, I joined the Future Nurses Club, not because I wanted to be a nurse but because they went on the best field trips. Every year they went to Galveston to tour the medical center and go to the beach! Did somebody say beach??? making less than wise choices and always looking for that instant gratification, I chose the quickest, cheapest route. I went to Wharton County Junior College and got my diploma for Licensed Vocational Nursing. So here I am, 30 years later with a career that I never intended to have. Fast forward to today, I am oh so proud of all my six kids as they are all contributing members of society. I am husband-less now for the third time. Yep, the good really DO die young. I'm back in school hoping to nail down that elusive college degree before time for retirement. Anyway, that's the shortest version of my life until now.
