After high school I attended Oakland U. for 2 and1/2 years where I met my husband interestingly enough through another former Shrine student he was dating. It was my good fortune that Patty Mills '73 felt more sisterly toward him and suggested he ask me out instead as she knew I was definately interested in getting to know him better. The rest is history. We've been married almost 33 yrs. Have 6 children (3 deceased). The three here are 27 yrs. 18 yrs and 11yrs.! Yes, I had a bonus baby. I've spent the time since I left the outside working world( back in 1981) as a homemaker, an occasional self employed sales person and active chairperson/volunteer in many areas. I think people in school would have described me as quiet and in some respects I still am. However, it was/ is because I was/am always observing people to see who they are, what connection we may or may not have and how I can fit in a given group.
