Suzanne (Suzi) Rice:  

Life I'm teaching Special Ed. at Villa Rica Middle school. I teach sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. I've gotten most of the painting, wallpapering, etc. done on my house. Now I'm focusing more on landscaping. 7/1/08 School As you can see from my list of schools, I am originally from Florida. I was born there and lived there till I was nine. Then I lived in Columbia, SC for a year (4th grade), and since 1989, I've lived in GA--Martinez (1989-1999) and Villa Rica (45 miles west of Atlanta) since late 1999. I was born in Rockledge, FL and lived in Cocoa (not Cocoa Beach). We lived about 15 miles from Kennedy Space Center and would stand in the front yard and watch the shuttles go up into space after watching the launch live on t.v. In Jan. of 1986, I was in first grade. We had just come out of the cafeteria and were standing outside on the sidewalk. When I looked up, I watched the Challenger space shuttle explode. Then, while I was teaching kindergarten, the Columbia shuttle exploded. College I went back to school in Jan. 2004 to begin working on my Masters in Interrelated Special Ed. I'll graduate this December (2006). I started out in college at Augusta State U. and went there for the first two years. Then, I transferred to Jacksonville State U. in Jacksonville, Alabama. It's a really small, nice town in northeast Alabama. JSU is known as the "friendliest campus in the south;" and I definitely think it is.
