Suzanne's Story
Life
Still living in Calgary.
Moved out of parents house in summer 2002.
Bought condo in Westgate.
Moved to new condo in Killarney in January 2006.
Took interior design at MRC right after high school - took Interior Design.
Worked at a cabinet making company in design/sales for over 6 yrs.
Left job in summer of 2006.
Took a self-imposed unpayed sabbatical in fall of 2006.
Spent 2.5 months in Africa - volunteering at an orphanage in Uganda.
Amazing experience & went on a 3night safari & rafted the Nile river!
Came back home for Christmas.
I would love to go back to Africa again in fall of 2007.
In the last few years I have done my two dream trips!!!

Workplace
Just got back from 2.5 months in Africa currently unemployed as of January 2007!
Previous to my trip...
I took six months off after College. Not sure what I wanted to do. Started looking for a job.
I found little add in classifieds,
"Designer/Salesperson required by Denca Cabinets. Interior Design knowledge a must. Please forward resume..."
That was me, so I applied.
Within 3 weeks, I had two interviews, they hired me & I started my training.
I started full time in the office January 2000.
I love going out to construction sites!
It is a great job with a great company. Very small family run business.
