Suzanne's Story
I really haven't been able to find any good picture of myself from back then, but, the above photo is of me in June of 2007 with my wonderful grandchildren. Actually, step-grandchildren. Destiny, my granddaughter, is my oldest stepsons daughter, in this picture, she's only 10, she just turned 11 in Feb. 22, the boys are the stepsons of the same stepson, Devon, the older one will be 13 in May, the younger one, Nick, will be 10 in May. Beautiful and Handsome, aren't they? I feel so blessed to have them and love them dearly. They are great kids.
Lately, I've found that I enjoy bird watching. I have a small feeder in my yard, right outside my kitchen window, and have seen Cardinals, Bluejays, Dark-eyed Junco's, White Breasted Nuthatches, Woodpeckers, Black-Capped Chickadee's ...Expand for more
as well as the regular Sparrows, Wrens etc. The most exciting ones are the Cardinals, BlueJays, Nuthatch and Woodpecker. Never saw any of those when I was growing up in the City, but, out here, we see them everywhere. I even saw a Hummingbird during the Summer. I never realized how incredible birds were until I moved out here in the Boonies. The only problem is that the Squirrels think that they can go into the bird feeder, too. I really don't mind, it's kind of funny seeing them hanging upside down trying to get at the seed. I think that Squirrels are God's clowns as they really are funny to watch.
It's even funnier seeing my dog try to jump up to catch the bird feed, he's way too big to succeed, but, he does try(he's an 80lb. Coonhound! Actually, more like a mini horse).
