Sylvia's Story
Life
Life. Hmmm...goes well. I have a hard time balancing college with fun. I love volunteering at my churches Youth Group as a Youth Sponsor. I love all my Jr. High girls!!! I dont have enough time to go out with my friends enough though...cuz of college work. Life has been really good, i really cannot complain. I have been able to pay for my college from my work monies, eventhough my parents have offered money for my schooling. But i'm slowly tiring of school, it is hard to be motivated. I really hope to travel soon. With friends or do some overseas volunteering in Africa or something.
School
Well, In Elementary school there were many crushes. The most well known thanks to my best friend Jen was Derek M. Then I had a crush on Jesse G. he was a hottie. My most embarassing moment in elementary school was when a bunch of guys and myself were playing tag and one of the guys tagged me and acidentally pulled my pants down...opps!!!The craziest school memory is of my friends and i being the Spice Girls at the Talent show at Murrayville. d fun teacher at LSS was Mr. Fiset. He was haliarious!!!The funniest things always happened at lunch time: tupperware,and spandex is all the rage lol.
College
I have been attending Kwantlen since September 2003. College is a lot of work compared to highschool. But i've met new people and made new friends and have had laughs.My first year at Kwantlen i worked a part time job. I do not know how i managed with four classes. This year, my second year, I do not have a part time job,because i find i dont have enough time as it is. I met this awesome guy in my second semester aT Kwantlen: Scott. We were friends after school and into the summer and now he hasnt spoken to me since september. There are lots of hot guys at Kwantlen, no problems. Hopefully i will be able to finish my assocciate if arts degree by next Fall semester at Kwantlen. Then i will transfer to UCFV to do my Bachelor of Arts and my PDP to become and an elementary school teacher.
Workplace
Now i am working at Parks Canada site in Fort Langley, I get paid decent so thats why i'm there. It's also a lot of fun.But i will only be there for the summer. I also work at IGA in Langley which i will continue until i can find a closer better paying job.
