Life I attended Centerville Elementary until the end of third grade. Does anyone remember my third grade teacher Mrs. Custard? I remember her reading Charlotte's Web and Stuart Little as well as some of the Little House books to us in class. I moved to Richmond where I attended Highland Elementary and Pleasant View Jr High. I graduated from Richmond High School. I played flute in band. After high school I spent four years in the US Air Force as a Russian Linguist. I married a fellow linguist(who grew up in Fl and PA)We settled in Las Vegas with our cats and dog, when he retired from the Army after 21 years. I taught pre-school and raised our son while we traveled coutesy of Uncle Sam. Over the years I attended the University of Maryland Far East Division, Misawa, Japan; University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida; Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas and finally was granted my BA through Excelsior University, Albany New York.
