Tamika's Story
Life
I was born and raised in Atlanta (a Grady Baby) and have lived here for the majority of my life except for the year I was in grad school. I am the oldest of 2 girls and have a 2 yr old niece and 5 yr old nephew. I have two dogs, a 5 year-old Rottweiler named Tojo and a 4 year old Husky named Max. College
After high school, I attended Emory University where I majored in African American Studies. After graduating there in 2001, I went to the University of Pittsburgh's School of Information Science and received a Master's in Library and Information Science. I am now currently working as a reference librarian DeKalb County. I have hopes of one day getting my second master's or my Ph.D in History. We will see.
