Tammy's Story
Life
Since graduation, I went to community college for my associates in criminal justice. Before finishing that degree I was employed at a work release facility that was a division of the Allegheny County Jail. I stayed at that job for 5 years while finishing my assiciates. I loved my job working with adult inmates but had always wanted to work with juveniles. After 5 years at the work release I moved onto working with the mentally challenged individuals and was in the middle of working on my bachelors degree in criminal justice. ally challenged for about 15 months and learned so much. I still visit the 3 women as often as I can. Then I went to work in a juvenile detention center. I worked for Cornell Abraxis...similar to shuman center but tougher. And lastly, I just finished my bachelors degree in september 2007.
New Update...I moved to Waynesboro, Pa. Its about 10 miles north of Hagerstown, Md and 10 miles south of Chambersburg. I now work for the State of Pennsylvania...in south Mountain Secure Treatment Unit. Its one of the securest lock-ups for juveniles.
