Taneka's Story
Life
Well besides being recently married...What's new? I'm am no longer working at the mall and the school. I have been working as a State Probation Officer for over a year and loving it! I don't plan to have kids for another 2-3 years. I'm still living in Nashville and loving that too!
School
From elementary to college I attended Hampton Elementary school. There I was very active. I was in the choir, on the track team, dance team, peer mediators, soccer team, violin ensemble, along with some other stuff. I attended John Muir Middle. There I was on the dance team, track team, orchestra, and the gospel choir. I did nothing but attend class at Madison high school until my senior year. I was on the sr. class board then. I then attended Viterbo University in Lacrosse, WI before transferring to TSU in Nashville, TN. CLASS OF 2004!!
College

transferring to TSU I attended a small private college in no man's land called Viterbo University. What did I think about it? Well...it was extremely small and in Lacrosse. What else is there to say? I majored in pre-med biology while I was there but then I switched my major and transferred schools. I graduated from Tennessee State with my degree in psychology and I loved every minute of it!
Workplace
My very first job was at St. Camillus Health Care Center. I worked there as a nursing assistant. Ughhh. It was a job and it was fun and that's what I did for five and a half years. Of course I didn't work there the entire time. I was only there for six months then I went to Marian Franciscan Center. Then I moved to Tennessee and work Customer Service at a mall and now my newest job to go along with CSR is working at Edison Elementary School.
