Tanis's Story
Life in the current days, 9/9/2013,
I am still working full time as a nurse in the hospital setting. I am fortunate to have a week day job without weekends or holidays. I have been an RN for over 41 years. It has been secure, stable, fun, hard work beyond my imagination, but such a blessing. People want hope when they are in potential final hours, weeks, moments of life as we know it. I have Jesus with me, all the time and He always provides hope. Sometimes He uses me. In a couple of years or less, I plan to retire and work just a little bit, to keep involved. It is an exciting time!
My family has grown to 7 grand children and one on the way. Each a unique and exciting addition to my life. I have 3 adult children and two of them are married to wonderful...Expand for more
people. One is single. I am still single (divorced). Most of the time, that seems like a very good life style choice. My parents are alive and well. They have been married and serving God for 68 years. My brother and his wife have returned to the St. Louis area.
I have been on two amazing trips to Hawaii and must admit that would be my favorite fantasy life style. Meanwhile, we, who remain in the St Louis area have our amazing Cardinals team to brag about and hot steamy summers and tolerable winters. I still enjoy all of the seasons that St. Louis has to offer.
That's about it for this update. I will check back in another 5 years. Yes, I do expect to be alive, kicking and healthier than my present. Life style choices! We all have them. God Bless you!
