Tanya's Story
Hi
It's been a long time since the really tall, skinny kid attended San Clemente and Dana Hills High Schools! I moved on to Saddleback J.C., got a B.S from San Diego State and rounded out my education with an MBA from Loyola Marymount. . . So much for the boring stuff!
I got married in '76 and had my little girl in '78, went to work in '79 for TRW in Business and other than a 3-year stint with SAIC at China Lake, CA pretty much kept with TRW until it was taken over by the 'Borg' in late 2002. Don't get me wrong, TRW did move me out to Vegas in mid '95 to work on a program for 4 years, so I haven't worke...Expand for more
d in Redondo Beach my entire career! I actually lived to retire from Northrop Grumman in early 2012 & our whole household is much happier.
In the middle of all of this chaos, I endured a divorce and was introduced to my husband by my daughter's babysitter - we've been married over 23 years.
We've made the move from California to Tennessee due to the much lower tax rates. I must say it was a shock to the system to move from the west coast to the east coast at my advanced age. Our next challenge is taking guardianship of a teenage grandson, to which we're looking forward.
