Tanya's Story
Life
Living in Shearwater, currently taking time off university for medical reasons. I work in childcare at the Miltary Family Resource Centre here in Shearwater, and little kids are fantastic. I'm a crazy pet lady with 4 cats (honestly two were not planned), one fish and a snake. My hair is pink and I like it that way. I still haven't learned how to drive. When I am in school I attend MSVU and majoring in Cultural Studies with a double minor in History and Sociology/Anthropology. slipped into my everyday life.
Workplace
Working in the causual care room and as a daycare sub at the Halifax and Region Military Family Resource Centre, Shearwater site (try putting that in forms!) I spend my days siting on the floor, playing with dinky cars and barbies, reading stories, and changing diapers. It really doesn't even feel like work.
After high school I worked at Zellers for a year, and I still hate going in there. I say work in the lightest terms, as I used to make it my goal to work as little as possible every shift.
