Tanya's Story
Life
After graduating from high school I attended two years of college in McPherson, KS earning my Associate degree. Then I took three years off school to travel and chase some dreams. I attended Gered Modeling School in Madison, WI and then tried to become a famous model in Seattle, WA. I got to go to some 'cattle calls' and had some fun pictures taken, but since you haven't seen me on the cover of Vogue you can guess how that ended up! I earned my BA in 1993 from Chadron State College in Nebraska. I married my good friend, Tim Robinson and we lived in Rock Springs, Wyoming for three years. ried Joel Murphy. Joel was originally from Louisiana. We seperated in January 2009. I have one son born in 1998 (Cade Logan), and one daughter born in 2002 (Brooke Sheridan). I work for the State of Louisiana; Department of Health and Hospitals; Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities. I am in the System Entry Unit and I determine if individuals meet the legal criteria to receive DD services from the State of Louisiana.
College
My college experiences were polar opposites. My first two years were spent at a strict christian school while my final two years (that took 3 to finish) were at a school well known for the wild party atmosphere. Both places were fun and I learned so much about myself I wouldn't change anything about any of those years.
