Tanya's Story
Life
Doing well. Happily married for 10 years. We have 3 kids, Jake (9), Sara (8), and Michael (6). We're planning a big hiking vacation in CO this summer. I work as a therapist/counselor 1 night a week.
I don't go on here very often, but find it fascinating to see what people are up to.
School
I would never go through adolescence again. While I enjoyed school and did well, at home I fought a lot with my mom. It really was not a good time period for me on an emotional level.
Now if I could go back with the knowledge that I have now, that's a whole 'nother ball game....Expand for more
I'm a much nicer person now than I was then.
College
My unique roomates were always my sisters. I was still fighting with my oldest sister until after graduation. Didn't pull many all-nighters. I've never had a cup of coffee. Hardly missed a class. I found my husband at U of I. I met him my very first day down there. It makes for very fond college memories. I remember when I was so poor I charged like $3 on a credit card at the gas station for candy. I'm proud to say I was debt-free before I got married, though. I got my masters in counseling from Governors State.
