Tara's Story
Weeeeeelllll, let’s see. I am the mother of a now 17 year old daughter who is the light of my life and a junior in high school. I’m still single so if you ladies know someone in the market let me know. I’m the UN of dating. Lol!! A lot has changed over the years. My father passed away in 1991 and my mom in 2006. My daughter was born in 2004 and In 2005 we moved to Altamonte Springs, Florida (just outside of Orlando) so my mother could be closer to her one remaining sibling, my aunt Betty Jean. After her passing we moved to Winter Haven, Florida with my company, State Farm Insurance company. I had been employed with them since 1995. In 2017 we were moved to Texas. agent. I’m very excited about this new endeavor. My daughter is currently a Junior in high school. Just being intentional about squeezing every bit of awesome out of life. I’ve been through some things that I never thought I would survive. I’ve suffered depression to the point that I couldn’t work or eat. I’ve felt so devalued that I didn’t feel anything. But those times have given me incredible strength and resilience. I’ve truly learned to give myself a break and there is no such thing as perfection. If my presence isn’t appreciated perhaps my absence will. My value is not determined by my job or any material thing. It’s in how I treat my fellow man and make the world a better place.
