Ted's Story

The book says you can tell the tree by its fruit. My daughters Skye and Sarah are the beauty and integrity of the world. They are the fruit of Pam and I. Though we all have moved on I cannot begin to say what all Pam contributed to the integrity, beauty and truth that are our children. Skye is a graduate of Baylor and has a Dental Arts Practice she has the pleasure of Addison my six year old Granddaughter. Sarah is practicing law in Chicago after starting at Loyla New Orleans, she experienced a little weather and ended up at Loyola Chicago and has been there ever since. She is attached to a great person Jeremy Nua fron Norte Dame. The have 2 - Millie and Bocephus, a great dane and a yorkie. Probaly as close as I will come to Grandkids for that one.R I have embarked on a new journey realizing a life long dream of attending the University of Miami. I am starting in the Paralegal field and seeing if I might follow in my daughters footsteps and one day pass the bar after law school. It fits in so well with a life full of Labor Relations experience. The life lessons learned from the second marriage will forever change the way things are perceived. Learning the meaning of forgiveness after betrayal without expecting any acknowledgement, learning we can begin new journeys any time we want and letting go of everything material, build character the hard way. Knowing now how someone must feel after a major change - same structure, different content. In order to fully understand up, you must know down. To know joy...Expand for more
, sadness. To know love, indifference. I have learned about my character and the jolt of reality when the facade falls away. Today I am happier than I have ever been in my life. My heart is humble and my smile is great. I find much wisdom and comfort in being a spiritual Catholic. I love John XXIII 's wisdom in ECII - You are obligated to Seek the truth. Once you find the truth, practice it to the best of your ability,- till a higher truth become know. Another book said The friut is giving and is for all to enjoy bearing its life giving nourishment. The root is for taking, even so the grass does not grow and pulling into it all that it can take. To say the fruit is good because it gives and the root is bad because it takes is faulty judgement. One can only say that it gives or takes. One cannot exsist without the other. To say what is good or what is bad is a perception and the reality is both are the same. The beatitudes are the fulfillment of the law. When I was hungry, did you feed me? When I was homeless did you shelter me? When I was naked did you cloth me? I say unto you , he who does so for the least of my breather do so for Me. Turn not away from evil. I did not become the priest Grandma Laurenzana wanted me to be. I raise too much hell. - I do make amends and I have love in my heart and if we could all keep our ego in check a little better.... An old tv sit com expressed the meaning of life as simply and as eloquently as I have ever heard. Be happy and try no to hurt anyone- Father Knows Best.
