Teresa's Story
Life
After graduation I attended William & Mary College for 1 1/2 yrs (where I had an absolutely marvelous time, out from under the watchful eye of my mother, Gladys Spencer, PHS librarian), then to Pan-American Business School in Richmond. I worked as a secretary at the Army Logistics Management Center at Fort Lee where I met my future husband. We married in 1958 and after his discharge from the Army, we moved to Phoenix AZ and had three sons. After 20 years we moved to Portland OR and lived there until retiring and moving to Las Vegas NV in 1996. We moved to Hanford CA in time for the birth of our youngest ...Expand for more
grandchild in 2009, where I am now (2021) living with our youngest son. Darwin died last year.. I have 7 grandchildren: 3 live in Portland OR, one is in the Army, one is in Sacramento CA, one in Bremerton WA and one is here in Hanford..
We loved to travel and have been to many foreign countries, as well as seeing the US and Mexico, in our motorhome. My hobby is Genealogy, an addiction that took us to courthouses and cemeteries all over the South before we decided that our traveling days were over. The internet has allowed me to continue my research and I still spend many happy hours searching for clues.
