Teresa's Story
Life
now that josh and i have been married for almost 2 years, we are soooo ready to have children added to our family. a house of 4 dogs and 3 cats is crazy, but we want little ones! we've been disappointed as we have lost 2 babies within the last 9 months. they will always be remembered by us. in the meantime, josh has learned to drive a motorcycle and we are trying to enjoy our days in cleveland. i have so many days when i want to move and live somewhere else for a change!!
School
i graduated from delta state university with a bachelors degree in psychology. i also graduated from new orleans baptist theological seminary with a master of arts in christian education specializing in social work and youth education. i am currently in the process to begin a doctoral program in new orleans.
College

ound my way into the psychology labs and discovered my gifts and talents. i joined a few clubs and honor societies and began developing good friendships.
Workplace
I have been serving as the executive director of sav-a-life of cleveland, a life affirming ministry that encourages women to seek all their options of pregnancy and to be educated about the possible consequences. we began as a medical clinic 2 years ago, offering women a free sonogram, a window to their womb. i was involved with the growth of our abstinence program into 23 schools and 2 after school programs. well, after 6 1/2 years, i resigned, now serving as the interim director. i began working with 2-4 year olds in a mother's morning out program through my church. i am so loving that time! i pick up and take home 2 of the children, help them with lunch and put them down for a nap before their mom comes home. for a few hours a day, i am able to enjoy "my" kids, which blesses my heart and gives me a purpose!
