Teri's Story
Life
My Spouse
I met my husband, Ken, in college and we married in 1985
College
I went to Fort Wayne Bible College and graduated with a degree in counseling and Bible. I later attended the University of Michigan Dearborn with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
My Pets
I have three dogs, a chow/retriever, a peek-a-poo and a yorkie-poo. They are aunt and nephew.
My Kids
I have one son who is 20. I can't believe he's in college and begining life on his own. Our second son was our ward since he was 6 years old and is now 19. He lives away from us now. We have hosted 7 exchange students from all over the world ...Expand for more
through the years and all have become a part of our family. We've had 11 foster children through the years. Our house has always been full of people and pets.
My Job
I used to work as a HeadStart teacher for 12 years. I was a make-up artist for Christian Dior and currently work occasionally for Chanel. Now I am a research project manager for Project Great Start at U of M. Basically I manage all the adminstrative aspects of the projects, train observers and assessors of children and keep the balls up in the air. I recently was licensed by the Missionary Church as a pastor and am very involved in ministry in my church.
