Terre's Story
OK, let's see, where to start? Well, I've been married since 1982 to a wonderful guy from NJ, whom I met at Happy Wheels in Newington. We have 2 daughters, Caitlin and Samantha, and a son, Joshua. Caitlin graduated from BU in 2006 and lives in Chicago with her husband, Sam. Caitlin had been nannying, but has just gotten a position as 5th and 6th grade science teacher at a charter school. Josh still lives at home after completing his associate's degree in building construction from NHCTC. He is working in retail and looking for a job in his field. Although I majored in Zoology at UVM in the seventies, gardening became a passion after I got married and I ended up working in the horticulture field. Until recently, I was head of the perennial dept at Churchill's Garden Center in Exeter.
Knee problems unfortunately have been making it difficult to do my very physical job effectively, so for the last several years, I've been taking classes at Great Bay towards a degree in biotechnology. When and if it becomes impossible for me to continue working on my feet all day, I'll have an exciting new field to explore.
