Terri (Teresa)'s Story
I am the clinical coordinator for outpatient services at a non-profit treatment center. I am also a certified chemical dependency counselor and a family crisis intervention specialist. I have been with my husband since 1976. I have two chidren.
A son, AJ (Allen Jr.), was born in 1979, a daughter, Skylar, was born in 1989. I have college degrees in business and chemical dependency. I am currently enrolled at a Christian University working toward a bachelors degree in social work. I have been clean and sober since 3/3/96. We are both active in the public service, recovery and faith communities. My husband is ordained as a Southern Baptist minister. I am also a commissioned minister. We enjoy riding motorcycles, traveling and ministering to others. The biggest surprise of my life was becoming a Christian (since my mom practiced witchcraft). Three other surprising things: 1. I'm a college graduate. 2. I've been married to the same man since 1976. 3. I'm still alive :-) Life is good and I'm enjoying every minute of it.
