Terry's Story
Life
After living in Boston, San Francisco,
New York and L.A., I moved back to Chicago in 1984. I've written music for
MUDDY WATERS, GEORGE THOROGOOD, JOAN
JETT and CLARENCE CLEMONS, and won a
Grammy in 1977 for co-writing "Bus Driver" with MUDDY WATERS for his album "HARD AGAIN," worked with
OPRAH and MICHAEL JACKSON, had three
movies and two plays produced, and wrote
the 1983 HUSTLER MAGAZINE ad parody,
"Jerry Falwell Talks About His First Time" that inspired the Woody Ha...Expand for more

movie and the Supreme Court case. And to
think: it all started with a poem in Youth Creates! My wife, Vicki and I have
three sons: JAKE, SAM and JOE -- none of who believe I had to swim naked in the high school pool.
Currently prepping my book of Blues photography, "In the Belly of the Blues,"
my new kids show "Broccoli Boulevard," and the return of my 2011holiday show,
"Hannukatz the Musical," which re-opens November 23, 2012 at
National Pastime Theater in Uptown.
