Terry's Story
In April of 2002 while preparing for knee surgery a routine chest x-ray showed something not right. So I underwent MRI's , PetScan, and other tests. On the day before we were to leave on our vacation in Canada, I had a doctors appointment. The doctor floored me by telling me that I had cancer. hecked once a year for any new problems, but what a relief I felt. I was busy making plans for my death, and I got a miracle. The doctors were so sure! I am so glad that even doctors are not always right. But I thank God that he saw fit for me to have something that I can control. Either way, Praise God for the miracles that we all to often take for granted. I have a new appreciation of life! Anyone else ever heard of this disease? Since I was diagnosed, I have met several people who have it. It boggles the mind how much stuff there is out there that we don't even know exists. This was one of them for me. Life is precious, and nobody knows that better than me and my family.
