Terry's Story
Graduated, had fun. Got married, then divorced, had fun. Spent 24 years being single, had fun. Got remarried last year, still having fun! Worked in a Greenhouse (Kitayama/Tagawa's), then Pizza Hut, then moving furniture & offices, became a CNA, worked nursing homes as an OT/PT assistant, then did home health and AIDS/Oncology Hospice for four years and while I went to art school. After graduating I became a Graphic Artist for screenprinters, then a screenprinter as well as an artist. Became manager of my families Headshops (2) for four years, and at the same time I co-owned a screenprint company, as well as my own airbrush company "Phat-Azz Airbrush " (it was the late nineties, obviously!). I also worked as an airbrush artist at Westminister Mall ("T-Wrex") and summers at Elitch Gardens/6 Flags Denver at their airbrusg booth. In 2001 I became a Med Tech and worked for Eaton Terrace in Lakewood until early 2006, when I moved to Dora, MO to help my folks run the liquor store they purchased there. rful downtown Willow Springs, MO.
At present, I am (re)married to Dianna (formerly Guptill-Anderson-Lyons now Anderson) and we are purchasing a lovely home here in Dora. I am resurrecting my airbrush/art buisness, but I am also planning on attending nursing school, when (?) depending on funding.
My friends have pretty much remained the same; Steve Gutheil, Erik Brasswell, my stalwart friends Dave and Shelly Fritzler, their folks Kathy Simmons-Orr and her hubby Ken, Ken Kuhn, my artist buds Manfu Cheng and Steve Haugen. Of course I've made many new friends over the years and lost touch with others; Tony Joiner, Leonard Trujillo, Bill Anderson, Sandra, Jim, and Gail Gassman, Tony Thurber, Lee Harris, to name a few. RIP Eleanor Smith, James Mason, and Ben Grimm, three friends that I really let down when they needed me and I wish I could apologise to for my shabby treatment of them. Forgive me, my lost friends. Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa. And if anyone knows the whereabouts of my kid brother, Chris, please drop me a line. Thje last I saw of him was 2008, standing on the streetcorner of Illiff and Sheridan.
