Over 33 years since MVHS........Where to begin?................
March 2009:
Well here it is another new year, 2009, and after over 13 years the company I've worked for has been sold and I'm laid off along with ~200 other people from the plant . Never expected that at this point in my life. I guess I need to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.
Got job? Will work for money!
November 2008:
Left MVHS '76,
Attended RCC Riverside '76-'78 while working both part time & full time.
Moved away from Moreno Valley to Costa Mesa around 1980 for ~2-1/2 yrs. and came back in '83 and bought a home. Have been in Moreno Valley ever since.
Went back to school off & on between '80-'83. Orange Coast Community, Coastline Community, Cal State Fullerton.
Worked for the same company starting in '77 between Riverside & Irvine for 18 years. Commuted from Moreno Valley to Irvine for ~ 14 of those years.
Met my wife Joan at that company, Married Jan. '82 and still happily married today.
Our first child Sara born July '86, Our second child Scott Born March '88.

ew job Sept. '95 in Corona, been there 13 years now.
Bought another home in Moreno Valley March '96. Have been there ever since.
Tragic loss of our daughter Sara in
Jan. '04 at the age of 17 just prior to her graduating from Valley View HS.
Our son Scott graduated Valley View HS 2006 3rd in his class. Currently studying engineering as a Junior at Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, CA.
Empty nesters now just Joan & I. We both continue to work, but also enjoy getting away in our RV with friends and family every chance we can.
In memoriam and in response to the loss of our daughter Sara, my wife Joan has formed a non-profit foundation S.A.R.A.; an acronym for Suicide Awareness Requires Action. Joan does presentations and speaks to educational awareness of suicide and suicide prevention. Over the last four years she has given presentations to hundreds, if not thousands of kids, teachers, college students, law enforcement professionals, etc. all over the state and in the Phoenix area. This has become her passion in life.
