Terry's Story

Retired from the U.S. Air Force. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire (English Literature) with a Masters from Southern New Hampshire University (Creative Writing). I currently work part-time for the Dept. of Safety in N.H. As a Writer, I am currently working on a Children's Chapter Book with the topic of Dolphins. I live in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It is extremely important, to support Writers, who give their Hearts & Souls, in writing Children's Books (Picture Books, Chapter Books, Young Adult Fiction). Children's Writers & Illustrators are failing to get-receive the widespread recognition they ...Expand for more
deserve. In today's world children deserve a much better education with the help of "Outstanding" Stories of Life, in Children's Books. (History, Animals, Science, etc.) Children's Books make up close to 65% of books sales in the United States. There are great authors-illustrators out there, who write Children's Books, but because of the way there are so few bookshops now, and libraries, becoming so far & between, children's books require much higher support. Parents need to be more supportive, in helping their children, receive a Better Education. Whatever you do, Please Support your local Libraries & Bookshops.
