Terry's Story
Life
Originally from Wichita, Kansas, I grew up as a military brat, spending my most formative and fun years in and around Midwestern U.S. (Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Colorado) and Western Europe (Turkey, Spain). Now a civilian brat, I've spent the past 30 years in Northern California (Silicon Valley, San Jose, San Francisco), 25 of which enjoying a career as a computer support specialist of one type or another. My favorite pastime is traveling. Doh!
School
I started elementary school in Turkey and graduated from high school in Spain. In between, I spent grades 2-9 in Missouri and Kansas. However, I most enjoyed grades 10-12 in Spain where I learned to DJ, dance, and drink.
How I managed to keep my grades up, I'll never know.

College
After high school, I went to Stanford University, where I took mostly music and computer science classes and also joined the Kappa Sigma fraternity. After
Stanford, I landed a computer job which ultimately launched my career.
Workplace
I've pretty much been at one place since leaving college. I've worked at other places and with other firms, but for the most part -- 24+ years -- I was a loyal company man working for drug firm Syntex Corporation. I also spent about 17 years working for concert promoter Bill Graham Presents. I'm now employed at Apple Inc.
Military
I was never in the military, though I was an Air Force dependent and I took a year of Jr. ROTC in high school.
