Thelma's Story
Life
I moved around a lot. I've lived in California, Ky, Dayton, KY., Columbus, Ohio, Portsmouth,Ohio, San Diego,CA., Long Beach, CA., Riverside, CA., and here in Erlanger, Ky. I live with my mother now so I can help her take care of my step-sister, Paula. I have 3 sons and 1 daugher. I have several grandchildren. They live in Ca., IL., and CO.I moved to Ca. in Nov. 1976 and came back her last year(2006) on Good Friday for a visit and stayed.
I hope my true friends remember me as a very careing person. I remember always trying to help the ones that could not help their selves. My best friends will remember this of me.
I would love to see Betty Nolan, Donna Airs, and a lot of others again.
I always wanted to be a mother and nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right because I have done both..
I love to sit down to a good book and a cup of hot chocolate. I enjoy being here with my mother and sister. I wish I could bring all my family closer to each other. I just wish Ky., Ca., Ill., Co., and Fl. were closer together. The hardest thing I have ever had to do is leaving my grandchildren and my children even though they are grown.
I have always looked up to my grandmother. She has always been a great inspiraltion to me. My mother is even a greater one. My sister was beaten and druged at the age of 22 and my mother stopped working and stayed home to take care of her. My mother is 74 and she still helps a great deal in the care of my sister. My sister has brain damage and can't do anything for herself. We do everything for her. Bath her, change her, dress her, feed her and so on. My sister has never been without our love and care. Mostly by my mother and stepfather. My stepfather is another great person in my life even though we lost him in Feb. of 2007. Our Heavenly Father is the greatest inspiration of all. If you need something He will give it to you even if you don't even know you need it. I hope and pray that each of you have Him in your life.

best friend. I truely do miss her. If I had 2 wishes they would be that I had my children and grandchildren close to me and the 2nd would be that I could see Betty again and have her close to me for the rest of our lifes..
I have a cat and 2 birds. My mother has 2 cats and 2 dogs. I take care of all of them. I love them all.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the whole house and add on a bathroom, a larger washroom, and workroom. My dream home would be large home with plenty of room in every room of the house..
I have learned a lot from my children. I was a child raising children. I was just 18 when I had my 1st, 19 with my 2nd, 20 with my 3rd, and then my girl was 8 years later at the age of 28 I started over with a new baby with 3 sons to love her to death. They have always protected her.
If I won $100 million, I'd give a million of it to each of my kids, then spend the rest on my grandkids, a better home for us (my Mom, my sister, and I ) and I would find the loved ones I have lost contact with.
My current age is 56. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now were old but someone to learn from. I was so completely right. No one is to old to learn.
I wear what I like. I have never wanted to be like everyone else. I do wear a lot of jeans and pants. I do wear a dress to church and places that you need to show your repect.
I share my home with my mother and sister, which I find is the greatest. I was raised by my father's parents. I have always wanted to be with my parents. I do now have my mother.
In 10 years, I hope to be with my grandkids and my kids. I'm going to get there by car. I hope to be with my kids and grandkids but I know to do that my mother will be in heaven. I won't leave my Mom until she passes away. She needs my help. I will go back to CA. when that happens and buy a home for my sister and myself..
Betty Nolan was in the 1st grade with me in Dayton, Ky. It was my 2nd year in the 1st grade because I was sick and missed 2 much school. Well on the 1st day of school, I walked into our class and here come a girl running as good as she could right at me. She grabed me and we both almost fell down. From that day on we were together as much as we could be. I still hold her in my heart and always will.
