Theresa's Story
Life
After high school, I went to nursing school and it did not pan out. Then I got into Medical Laboratory Sciences and received my Associate in Applied Science. I worked several places in my field and am currently employed at Lower Bucks Hospital. I have been married for 16 years and have a 15 year old son. I reside in Morrisville.
School
I was always considered the nerdy type in school. I would get teased because of this and the fact that I was on the heavy side. It really hurt to be teased. In high school, I blossomed and lost the weight and dated. I wish I had studied more and socialized less. I was also shy and to myself. I had only a handful of friends. College
Since graduating from MCCC in 1986, I have had a job as a lab technician in a few places like, Mercer Regional Blood Center, Warminster General Hospital, Delaware Valley Medical Center, Frankford Hospital, and currently, Lower Bucks Hospital. Microbiology and Chemistry are still my least favorites after all these years! I am very happy in my profession. I am married for almost 17 years and have a 15 year old son.
Workplace
I have worked in several places in my lifetime. My co workers always say that I am a reliable, loyal person. In my field as a lab technician, my peers always have said that I am an accurate and precise worker.
