Theresa's Story
Life
I was originally married in 1981 and the marriage ended in divorce. We had two beautiful daughters together. After the divorce, as a single parent, I adopted my three handsome sons. In 1998, I married my current husband who has three children from a previous marriage. My husband and I adopted our son in August 2008.
Education:
I graduated on May 7, 2011 from Northeastern Illinois University with a BSW (Social Work). I then attended Dominican University August of 2011-May 2013 and graduated in 2013 with a MSW (Social Work).I passed my licensing exam in January, 2014 and am now a LSW (Licensed Social Worker).

l Association as the Program Coordinator for SAVMA (Student American Veterinary Medical Association) from June 2006-April 25, 2014.
I begin working for Fresenius Medical Care on April 28, 2014 as a Licensed Social Worker. Fresenius Medical Care provides kidney dialysis services to clients. As a Licensed Social Worker, I will be advocating for my clients and providing counseling and psycho-educational support to my clients as needed.
Service:
I am a Eucharistic Minister for St. Juliana's Parish. My husband and I are licensed State of Illinois foster parents. In my spare time, I volunteer and serve in a local soup kitchen.
