Thomas's Story
Life
In 1992, I married the former Pam Ross, a Connersville High School graduate as well. In 1994 we purchased a new home in the outskirts of Fayette County.
We have two Children, Tommy (1994) and Sarah (1998). Both attending a private school, TCS.
Google earth does not find the address from space but it exists.
you just have to pan left about a mile on Wiliams Rd.
Prior to children Pam and I had a huge house on 16 acers with horses. Now we have too small of a house on 16 acers without horses. ha
We are active in our church, Connersville Baptist Temple and spend most of our time together in activities with our church family.
School
attending Grade school in the following communities
1st grade Rockville Indiana,
2nd grade Marshall Indiana,
3rd grade Meridian Elementry Brazil Indiana,
4th and 5th grade Eastview Elementry Brazil Indiana,
6th grade Stauton Elementry Brazil Indiana,
7th grade Stauton middle school Brazil Indiana,
7th grade Connersville Middle School South Connersville Indiana,
8th grade Connersville Middle School North Connersville Indiana,
9th -12th grade Connersville Sr. High School.
Having attended so many different schools and encountering so many new faces and situations, I believe helped me adapt to situations easily later in life and still today. Although today I made many friends from Connersville High school, I still remember many people from Staunton and to this day remember those years as being my closest friends during pre high school years. I know the school currently doesn't exist and I assume "my" Staunton class graduated together in 1984. To the friends of the "pepsi generation" as Mr Blair, a favored teacher, referred to all of us, I say hello. I haven't attended a reunion since the 5 year but wish all of you the best and hope that direction has been found by each of you and much success has been found by each as well
College
1984 - 1985 Broadcasting major.
Clark Hall room 123
Student Senate 1984
Resident hall President
Year of many firsts in friends and defining my future education.
1985 - 1986
Clark Hall room 120
Rob C. was roommate. Rob known as "fire alarm rob" at all wing meetings everyone would point at Rob as the one. Rob, as all who lived in that win...Expand for more
g that year know, was the one that made that year one of the most memorable to all of us.. AND WE DID WIN THE HALLOWEEN Decorating contest because of HIM!
Resident hall assistant (yes and I was staff with that wing) God forgive me if someone in the wing that year didn't have some fun.
What a Year of exciting and memorable moments; wing activities and road trips were some of the funniest things ever. pennied doors, cricket releases, blanket parties, Eucher and all off campus trips were way more then what most bargained for from the basement of clark hall that year.
IF the internet and digital photography was as available then as today, I would have won the $100,000 funniest videos at least 10 times by now.
1986 - 1987
2nd and Hart street (Green House)
This was a year that I can say was an amazing period of time. Building lifetime friendships and memories that no one could believe had they not been with us. Jerry, Rob and Paul are some exceptional and extremely important people in my memories of 2nd and Hart street. If I had at least one memory that captured it all it would have been.... well there were so many but the night of the firecrackers ranks up there. HA
I hope to hear from any of you that remember some of those times.
many trade schools and finally in 2005 I started Indiana Weslyan University in pursuit of my BS degree in INFORMATION SYSTEMS.
Workplace
After Graduating I worked in various positions relating to my Broadcasting major. In 1991 I moved from Television and radio production, sales and engineering to a non creative position in manufacturing. However, the British company in Shelbyville I went to had high technology and was brand new to the area that year. Having moved from various positions within group, I was met with many challenges and eventually in 1996 took position I still enjoy. Systems Administration is very challenging and also allows me to work with the latest technology. After The Japenese company NSG purchased our organization, I,in October 2006 began working for corporate in a virtual capacity, supporting Niles MI, Versailles KY, Shelbyville IN, Toledo OH and Columbus OH. IN 2008 I changed roles again with same company to Global Systems Integration position.
