Thomas's Story
We left Berlin for Scott AFB and for the 2nd half of my freshman year I went to O'Fallon Township HS. I completed my freshman year there and transferred to Belleville Township HS East for my sophomore ~ senior years. After HS I took a semester off and worked at the AFB bagging groceries. I continued bagging groceries while attending the first 2 semesters at Southwestern Illinois College. I started working full time for a company called Marsh Stencil, first as a PCB board assembler, then as a field tech/installer, then a R&D tech, and finally moved into the MIS department. my Associates degrees (yes 2). I got married in 1996 to my wife Melody. For you unmarried folks, head my advice and never get married. J/K :) I was laid off From Marsh in March of 2000, and then hired by AG Edwards a week later. I worked for AG Edwards from 8 years in their IT department, first as desktop support (4yrs), then as a Windows server admin (4yrs). During this time I impregnated my wife twice. Nathan (son) was born on April of 2003 and Riley (daughter) was born in March of 2007. I left AG Edwards, err Wachovia, in April of 2008 and started working for RGA as a Sr. Windows System Administrator.
