Thomas's Story
While at Cooley I played JV football and basketball and was a member of Lancer Hi-Y. Lived on St Mary's St south of Schoolcraft. After Cooley I attended WMU and received a degree on Engineering. Worked as a Plant Engineer with Chrysler. Then after oil crisis layoff, worked as a engineer with the State of MI Departments of Health and DNR. Also picked up an MS along the way at WSU. ntractor conducting Environmental, Safety, and Health audits. Now fully retired and happy with the journey. Met wife at WMU, still married, with 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Now living in Paw Paw MI just west of Kalamazoo and WMU. My last attendance at a reunion was 1990. Hope I can recall classmates for the 2015 reunion. All I know about Cooley is that it is closed, is not what it used to be, and where I grew up is a sad place to drive through.
