Thomas's Story
I am single and am teaching as a Part-time Adjunct Teacher at Grand Canyon University after graduating with my Bachelors degree 31 yrs. ago from then Grand Canyon College. I have a Masters in Psychology and teach two Psychology classes each semester and love it way too much. I am retired and spend all my time in teaching, ministering in our church & leading Celebrate Recovery. As of Nov. of 2012 we started a NewChurch "Road to Recovery Fellowship." is a Christ Centered "12" program that allows us to be real about our compulsive, addictive, dysfunctional behavior in our lives. Recovery is possible through the power of Christ. Our Celebrate Recovery program is now based on the campus of Grand Canyon University and our goal is to reach 100's and 100's of college age students and others who go to school there with the recovery power of Christ.
Our mentor church is Saddleback Community Church in Lake Forest, Ca., where Celebrate Recovery started 32 years ago, by John Baker and the encouragement of Rick Warren - Become the best version of yourself.
