Thomas's Story

Military I joined the United States Navy in my senior year of high school. I left for boot camp 2 weeks after graduation. Boot camp was at Great Lakes, Illinois (fondly referred to as Great Mistakes). I attended Hospital Corpsman school in Great Lakes as well, then went to Naval School of Health Sciences in San Diego. At NSHS San Diego I went to Advanced Med Lab Tech school. After graduation, I served the rest of my active duty at Groton Naval Hospital located on the submarine base in Groton Connecticut.
