Attended the Allegan School System my entire life starting with Northward Elementry, Jr. and Sr. High Schools, graduating in 1963. Worked for Gilmore Bros in Kalamazoo while attending Western Michigan University. Joined the USAF in 1966 to avoid an Army Draft. Served 4 years including one at PhuCat AB Vietnam. Married Deborah McGlashen of Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1967. Had 2 kids, Corri and Chad. Divorced in 1986, married Suzanne Smith in 1987. Graduated from the University of Toledo with a BA in Humanities. Was Systems Manager at Champion Spark Plug until 1987 when they were sold and then joined EDS/GM as Senior Account Executive. Left EDS in 1992 to do independent consulting. Joined Peregrine Inc in 1997 as CIO until they bankrupted and rejoined EDS as Sr. GM Account Exec until 1999 and retired. ends boating and entertaining our 9 grandkids, Samerra, Gaven, Gage, Annessa, Emma,Ethan, Clara, Samantha and Morgan. We belong to the Glass City Corvette Club and take at least one major road trip per year, including 5 tours of Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles. You will find my name on a plaque in the middle of the Chain-of-Rocks Bridge in St. Louis MO as a birthday present from Suzanne and my contribution to the preservation of Route 66 history. Our son is a ranch hand at Grand Canyon's Phantom Ranch so we vist the canyon often. We enjoy life to the fullest. I am now retired, and was the elected Township Supervisor of Algansee Towhship, did some web consulting for a local RV dealer on the side and living at the lake in the summer. Life is good. I unseated a 10-year incumbent for the position of Algansee Township Supervisor. I ran a clean campaign and won by a landslide and retired from that last year. My first and last venture into politics.
