Tim's Story
Life
I can't believe I'm 40 something and am now officially in my Denial Years (just before the Golden Years)!! The last 20 or so years have been a wild ride as far as career, education and emotions. Went to Western, dropped out, went to York, dropped out. Went to Waterloo, got an Honour's BA. Accepted at teacher's college but decided to become an optician. Got married, divorced and happily married again. (Things do happen for a reason!)Have my 3rd motorbike since '78 so it's not a midlife crisis. Lear...Expand for more
ning to fly this fall. Found a really good job in the optical industry working for Transitions Optical (see website for details) They pay me to train and educate opthalmologists, optometrists and opticians (no sales) I cover eastern Canada and work a lot from home. I also teach optics at Seneca (irony: I failed calculus!!)I've been lucky to do lots, see lots, learn lots, but I'm not done yet. Focussed on the present and future but sometimes miss the past...if only I knew then what I know now (bad cliche)
