September 2011 After high school, I completed my BS in Meteorology from Penn State in 1982. Since the weather is not always easy to predict, I decided to pray for it. I entered Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio and received a Masters of Divinity in 1989. As part of that degree process, I spent a year of internship in Cando, North Dakota - a complete 180 degree experience from Spring Hill and the North Side! I met my wife Monica (West Mifflin 1980) on a bus trip to a youth gathering in Denver - we were both counselors for our youth groups. We married in 1986 and just celebrated our Silver anniversary. Our two children are wonderful (would you expect a parent to say anything else?). Our daughter is a junior at West Chester University near Philadelphia working on her Music Education degree as a voice major (anyone remember our music teachers Mr. Bullock or Mr. Dunmire or Mrs. Bickle from Latimer).
