Tina's Story
Life
Russ (My husband) and I have 2 Welsh Cardigan Corgi's we call them "The Boys".
My life with Russ is fun. We work together but on separate floors. We played Softball together until we figured out that Russ really did not enjoy it as much as me, No biggy. He has his STi that keeps him happy driving it on the track and the spirited driving on the back roads. I have my Mini that we co-drive together in Autocross. We go on a trip once a year to somewhere cool which he does all the Planning. I call him Research man. We take the boys to Dog parks and to Corgi get togethers (they love that). We also take them to autocross with us.
Pre current husband.
I did not graduate from Community college I was 1 credit from finishing and ran out of Money so I was hired at Boeing
I was married at 22 and divorced by 26 to a man who would not work even though we were sinking deeper in debt with no way out and I was working 58 hours a week. I got really tired of commuting an hour each way working my ass off to only h...Expand for more
ave 20 dollars a week in my pocket to eat on so I left him.
I decided after the divorce I needed a change. I started looking around the contract world, since I had 6 years under my belt for drafting/design and CATIA, and found a job in Stratford, CT at Sikorsky Helicopters. I had 200 dollars to my name and a airplane ticket and a dog we flew to CT and working on the Commanche (which was really against my morals as I hate war and killing) but I was desperate to get out of debt and start saving money for once.
I met Russ at Sikorsky and we have been together ever since and that is oh 16 years ago. We were not in a hurry to get married as both of us had simular stories in the Divorce front. We finally said the hell with it so in 1999 we got married on Mt Hood at Timberline Lodge that was on May 1 and then the snow came down UNBELIEVABLE we said. It was really quite beautiful for those of us staying there but, for those who did not they all had great stories to tell.
This is My story till Now.
