Tom's Story
After graduating High School I joined the US Air Force and got out in 1980. Using the GI Bill I got my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) at SIU in Carbondale, Illinois in 1984.
I went to work at Sperry Defense Systems in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1984, designing and building displays for the F16, F111 and C17 military aircr...Expand for more

I went to work at Sandia National Laboratories in 1987 and am still there. I got my Master's Degree in EE at New Mexico State University in 1993 and will finish my PhD in 2009 at the University of New Mexico.
Along the way I got married in 1978 to a wonderful women from Baraboo, Wisconsin.
I have two kids, Jessica (1985) and Daniel (1992)
